Coming 4th in La Liga this season, behind Real Madrid, Barça, but also Girona, Atlético de Madrid plans to reshuffle its squad this summer. Many movements are planned in the coming months, both in terms of departures and arrivals. Among the possible recruits in defense, the Colchoneros are considering Robin Le Normand. The Spanish international’s clan, at Real Sociedad since 2016 after his departure from Brest, has already been contacted by the Madrid club according to Relevo.

Diego Simeone is a fervent admirer of the player and is keen to include him in his squad for next season. The Spanish media reports that the central defender’s contract comes with a release clause of 50 million euros, but the Colchoneros aim to lower this amount to around 30 million euros. This will not be the only hot issue of the transfer window for Atlético de Madrid, which is also targeting the arrival of Artem Dovbyk, top scorer in La Liga this season.
