Trista Sutter is opening up about her and Ryan Sutter‘s marriage. The first star of The Bachelorette responded to divorce rumors as well as more speculation about herself amid concern on social media due to Ryan‘s cryptic posts about missing his wife of 20 years. Trista, who shares kids Maxwell, 17, and Blakesley, 15, with Ryan, revealed where she was: filming Season 3 of the Fox reality series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Trista said in her Instagram Stories post that she and Ashley had chatted about the Fox series at The Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner‘s wedding to now-ex-wife Theresa Nist in January. “Ashley said, ‘Have you been asked to do Special Forces yet? Because if you haven’t, I think you are going to be the next person from Bachelor Nation who is asked to be on the show,’” Trista explained. “And this was months before I was even approached about doing the show. I had no inclination that I was going to be part of it.” “I think I probably said to Ashley, ‘Oh my gosh, no way, there’s no way that they would want me to be part of that show.’ But you were so right, Ashley.
