IMG Credit: WWEWelcome back. A wrestler getting to return from an injury can be quite the moment as you never know when you are going to see someone again if they get hurt. Sometimes what seems like a simple injury can wind up being a very long term problem and that was the situation last year. Thankfully we got such a return this week as a fan favorite star is back in the ring.

According to PWInsider.com, Wendy Choo wrestled at this week’s NXT LVL Up tapings. This marks Choo’s first match since May 16, 2023 as she has been out of action with an unspecified injury. The injury was eventually attributed to Blair Davenport in storyline. Choo was also seen in the NXT crowd during the recent Draft shows. It is not clear when she will return to regular NXT TV.

Opinion: That is good to hear, as you never want to see someone out of action for any length of time, let alone nearly a year. Choo is certainly one of the more unique performers in all of NXT and it should be interesting to see what she gets to do now that she is back. If nothing else, it’s good to have a place like LVL Up where she can shake off the ring rust and get back to normal.
