IMG Credit: WWE/All Elite WrestlingScheduling conflict. There are all kinds of wrestling shows on the air or online today and at some point, some of them are going to cross over with each other. This weekend, WWE will be airing its annual Summerslam event, with the show itself starting at 7pm EST and the Kickoff Show starting at 4pm EST. This will be going up against AEW Collision, which will be airing from 5-7pm EST. The show is also up against the Olympics, which has led to worry that Collision’s audience could be especially low.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that happens every so often and there is little that can be done about it from AEW’s perspective. Even the Kickoff Show, which is not likely to have any major matches, is going to be a draw because it is connected to Summerslam. Throw in the Olympics and Collision is outgunned in name value, despite likely having a rather good show of its own.
