Real Madrid have not remained without reaction to the news that Vinicius Jr will not be crowned Ballon d’Or.

While all predictions were in favor of his consecration, it turns out that Vinicius Jr will not be awarded the Ballon d’Or this Monday. According to several consistent sources, the Brazilian was overtaken by Manchester City midfielder Rodri.

Having heard of this news, Real Madrid made a radical decision. The institution chose not to send any of its representatives to the ceremony. Thus, neither Vinicius, nor Bellingham, nor Carvajal showed up this Monday evening at the Chatelet theater in Paris. Casa Blanca therefore completely boycotted the event.

Real Madrid are under attack

The Merengue were not content to snub the Parisian evening. They also reacted, unofficially. According to Marca, within the club, it is considered that “the Ballon d’Or no longer exists”. Florentino Pérez and his disciples are convinced that there was a plot. That France Football and UEFA have come together to make Vinicius Jr fail.

Obviously, this opinion is their own. And it’s a shame that they had this attitude, even if the news about Vinicius is true. A great club is also distinguished by its fair play side. And there, the evidence is that they were sorely lacking.
