Barça had a difficult evening on the Asemistas’ pitch. Reduced to ten men from the start of the match, the Blaugranas suffered the law of ASM. But the Catalan coach, while acknowledging the defeat, was optimistic for the future.

However, the Culés had managed to equalize after Maghnes Akliouche opened the scoring, thanks to a goal from their young star, Lamine Yamal. But the entry into play of Georges Ilenikhena in the second half allowed the club from the Principality to regain the advantage and seal the victory.
Hansi Flick remains optimistic
Despite the setback, coach Hansi Flick was satisfied with his team’s performance. The German coach is, however, aware that Barça will have to bounce back in the next Champions League matches.
“I am very proud of this team and I am very optimistic with them. We have to accept the defeat, but we have seven games left and I am sure we will come back.”assured the former Germany coach at a press conference.
