Heavily beaten at the Etihad Stadium by Tottenham (0-4), Manchester City is going through an unprecedented period by being on a series of five consecutive defeats, for the first time in Pep Guardiola’s career. Obviously, before hosting Feyenoord in the Champions League, this state of form is debated within a team which has never had to face this type of situation. But for the Catalan technician, there is no reason to worry.

“What should I change? If I changed in the first season we wouldn’t win six Premier League titles in eight years, that’s impossible. Now, I’m not going to change the way we do things… in life, nothing lasts forever.”he explained, mentioning in particular the long injuries of Rodri, Dias, Akanji, Stones and Walker. “I have a feeling we will do really, really good things this season. I’m not giving up, I have a feeling we’ll be there. I know when we lose everything is called into question. It’s our business. We have to win matches”.
