Things are only getting better for Barcelona as the season progresses, with the Catalans currently holding a handsome nine-point lead at the top of the table.
Now, in yet another positive for head coach Hansi Flick, the German tactician looks all set to be boosted by the return of one of Barcelona’s crucial defenders.
Ronald Araujo in final stages of recovery
According to Diario SPORT, Barcelona may soon be able to count on the services of Ronald Araujo.
That is because the Uruguayan international is currently in the final stage of his recovery, having spent the last few months trying to recover from an injury.
Araujo has been absent throughout the season so far, prompting Flick to deploy Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez as the central defensive pairing.

Will Araujo be as useful for Barça?
It must be noted that Cubarsi and Martinez have built a solid defensive pairing this season, playing a key role in Barcelona’s early season success.
Therefore, it could prove to be difficult for Araujo to fight for a place in the first team even after he returns to full fitness.
Not to mention, Araujo has been linked with a move away from Barcelona lately, with a free transfer potentially in sight.
The defender, though, is tilting towards a Barcelona stay, so it will be interesting to see how things transpire after the defender returns to full fitness.
