The injury woes continue to pile up for Barcelona as they have lost yet another player to a fitness problem today.

Just five minutes into their La Liga encounter against CA Osasuna at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, star forward Ferran Torres had to be taken off by manager Xavi Hernandez due to a possible injury.

Torres, who has been in good nick in recent weeks, went down onto the pitch in the fourth minute, clutching his right hamstring.

After receiving medical attention, it became clear that the Spanish international was in no condition to continue and had to be subbed off.

Much like with Alejandro Balde last week against Athletic Club, Torres left the pitch in tears, indicating that the issue might be a serious one.

The Spanish forward was replaced by Fermin Lopez, who was promoted and registered with the first-team squad on Tuesday night.

Torres joins Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Gavi, Alejandro Balde, Raphinha, Inigo Martinez, Marcos Alonso, Sergi Roberto, and Joao Felix out on the sidelines for Barcelona.

Xavi & co. are left with just Robert Lewandowski and Vitor Roque as their senior forwards in the squad at present. Meanwhile, young Marc Guiu is also unavailable today due to fever.
