There will be a lot of clubs that will be looking to conduct an overhaul of their squad in an attempt to revolutionise the team ahead of the new season.
Liverpool, for example, will be in the market looking for a new manager, first and foremost, before splashing the cash on several players to plug holes in attack, midfield, and defence after failing to sign their targets last summer.
Chelsea, too, will be looking to shuffle their squad around a fair bit, hoping to not only adhere to the Financial Fair Play margin, but also replace some of the underperforming superstars they have been buying.
Not to forget Barcelona and Bayern Munich. The latter are on the brink of losing out their Bundesliga dominance for the first time in 12 years, and are preparing to make a drastic revolution in the summer.
This plays fairly well into Barcelona’s hands, who are interested in three Bayern players ahead of the summer window, as per a report by Adrian Sanchez. These are namely, Leroy Sane, Joshua Kimmich, and Jamal Musiala.
Sane
Sane is en route his best-ever season, numerically speaking, having scored eight and assisted 11 goals this season in the Bundesliga in 22 appearances. His personal best stands at 25 with Manchester City in 2017/18.
The German’s contract expires in the summer of 2025, and there have not been any signs of an extension so far, even though Bayern are interested in handing him an extension.
While he prefers to play as a right-winger, Sane can also play on the left and off the striker, which makes him an ideal acquisition for Barcelona, especially considering the age Lamine Yamal is at right now.
Kimmich

His contract expires in the summer of 2025, and he has been on the radar of Barcelona to replace Sergio Busquets.
The 29-year-old could push to leave the Bundesliga as early as this summer, with his price tag expected to reach around €40-50 million, at the very least.
Musiala
There is little to no way Bayern sell Jamal Musiala this summer or the near future, with the 20-year-old expected to lead the team in the long-term.
The German national is currently contracted with the Bundesliga defending champions until 2026, and has shown no indications about leaving just yet. And should Barcelona try to pursue him, they will need to shell out nearly €100-150 million on his services.
