Brazil has long been a conveyor belt for up-and-coming, exciting young footballers, churning out special talents one after the other. And, Barcelona and Real Madrid have constantly been monitoring the Brazilian market to unearth and sign the next big thing.

It has led to the Blaugrana roping in Vitor Roque recently while Real Madrid will be welcoming Endrick in six months’ time.

Now, it appears that another exciting young prospect in Brazil has caught the eyes of the two La Liga behemoths.

Kaua Elias on Barcelona, Real Madrid’s radar

Indeed, as per reports from Telefoot, via Mundo Deportivo, both Barcelona and Real Madrid have taken a liking to Fluminense’s teenage forward Kaua Elias.

Just 17 years old, Elias has already made his first-team debut for Fluminense, right after making just a solitary appearance for the Brazilian club’s Under-20 side.

The young striker has particularly shone brightly for the Brazilian Under-17 national team, having already plundered nine goals for them in just 12 appearances.

It has seemingly caught the attention of two of the biggest clubs in Europe in the form of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The teenage striker has a contract with Fluminense that runs until December 31, 2026. Considering that and the potential he has showcased, the Brazilian club would hold out for a sizeable fee for him.

It could become an issue for Barcelona given their financial situation and might end up giving an advantage to Real Madrid, although it remains to be seen if either club is serious about their interest in the 17-year-old.
