The future of Robert Lewandowski has become a talking point as move closer to the end of the season.
The Polish hitman has a contract at Camp Nou until 2025, but doubts have started forming as to whether or not he will continue at the club, especially amid offers from Saudi Arabia.
Lewandowski rejects Saudi advances
However, a recent report from Diario SPORT has issued a clarification on the future of Lewandowski.
As per the report, the Pole has already decided to continue at Barça and has rejected advances from Saudi Arabian clubs, who were offering to triple his salary.
It appears Lewandowski’s objective is to continue playing at the highest level at Barcelona and lead the Catalan attack at least for one more year.

Barcelona want to continue with Lewandowski
While it is true that Lewandowski is one of the highest-paid players at Barcelona, the club believe his departure this summer could create more problems.
Barcelona consider it difficult to sign a direct replacement for Lewandowski this summer while the alternative, Vitor Roque, is still adapting to life in Barcelona.
With that in mind, the club are happy to continue with Lewandowski. The Pole has left behind his irregular start to the season, emerging as one of La Liga’s performers since the turn of the year.
Lewandowski has also maintained an excellent level of fitness despite his age and the fact that he has played a lot of football since the start of last season.
The report adds that Barcelona’s ultimate goal is to sign Erling Haaland in the summer of 2025. But for the time being, Lewandowski is the answer to the club’s attacking woes.
