Barcelona find themselves in a tricky position in the transfer window as registration of new signings is expected to be challenging without any sales.

Raphinha, to that end, is one player who has been constantly touted to depart Barcelona this summer, especially given the strong interest he has been attracting.

After all, the Brazilian international is on the radars of several clubs in the Premier League as well as the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

Raphinha adamant he will not leave

However, according to SPORT, Raphinha is adamant that he has no plans to leave Barcelona despite the strong interest from England and Saudi Arabia and the prospect of lucrative contracts there.

Raphinha could be in Saudi Arabia from where clubs are willing to offer Barcelona a sum of around €100 million, including add-ons. He still has suitors in England where he impressed with Leeds United. But the winger has no desire to leave.

In fact, as per the report, it has been clear to Barça for months that the Brazilian international will not be leaving, which is why he featured prominently in the club’s 125th-anniversary kit launch video.

Internally, the small core of decision-makers in the Barcelona sporting department knew that Raphinha was staying.

Ready to fight

Raphinha is well aware that he will have to fight for a place in this Barcelona team, with Lamine Yamal being the first-choice starter on the right flank. Nico Williams, once he arrives, would become the preferred option on the left.

The Brazilian accepts the challenge and is ready to tough it out to earn his place in the team under Hansi Flick.

During his time at Barça, the 27-year-old has had to come up against challenges but has always pushed through with his perseverance and dedication, and the upcoming season is unlikely to be any different.
