For the second week in a row, Bayley appeared on WWE NXT.
“The Role Model” appeared on the January 14th episode of WWE NXT and interrupted Roxanne Perez. They brawled at the end of the show. Perez was in the crowd during Bayley’s match on the January 17th episode of WWE SmackDown. Likewise, Perez was in attendance when Bayley faced Nia Jax on the January 20th episode of WWE RAW, and they got physical.
Bayley came to the ring on the January 21st episode of WWE NXT. She said that NXT was her home, and that was why she cared about Roxanne Perez. She noted that Perez told her she was acting like CM Punk and Natalya, but she considered that a compliment. Bayley said that NXT did not owe her anything. She noted that Perez appearing in the crowd was “small-ball”, and that did not prove that she was ready for RAW and SmackDown.
Bayley highlighted the depth of NXT’s women’s division, and NXT Women’s Champion Giulia interrupted her. Giulia said that she looked up to Bayley, and she hoped to hold the title with as much honor as Bayley did. Bayley thanked her and said that she was a huge fan of her. She said that Giulia would make some historic moments of her own. She highlighted the importance of the NXT Women’s Championship.
Roxanne Perez And Cora Jade Interrupt
Perez and Cora Jade interrupted. Perez said that if Bayley actually cared about the future, she wouldn’t have punched her.
Jade noted that she used to be a naive Bayley fan, but she could see that she wasn’t a “role model” after all. Jade said that Giulia should hand the title back to Perez because nobody could carry it like she did. She claimed that they had been holding the division together from the start. Perez stated that Bayley’s service was no longer needed. Perez also said that Bayley wanted the NXT Women’s Championship, and that was why she was in NXT.
The two duos then brawled until they were separated by security. They reignited their brawl backstage, and they had to be pulled apart again.
