You Won’t Believe What Will Ospreay Wore During His Match At AEW Dynasty

Will Ospreay was just trying to close his rings.

Ospreay was in Owen Hart Cup action against Kevin Knight at AEW Dynasty in Philadelphia. The match, which opened the show, was an impressive display of skills by both competitors.

One interesting observation that came from the match wasn’t a move or the finish, but what Ospreay was wearing during the match. A fan on Twitter/X called him out for hiding an Apple Watch under his wrist tape.

The watch was hidden under wrist tape on The Aerial Assassin’s left arm, which Ospreay admitted to in a reply. “Caught me,” Ospreay wrote with a crying laughing emoji. The fan then followed up and asked if the Apple Watch survived the match unscathed. Ospreay confirmed it was fine, but made one key mistake — he forgot to start the tracker before the match.

Perhaps Ospreay will get another chance to use the watch, as his victory over Knight meant he’s moving on to the next round of the Owen Hart Cup tournament. Ospreay will face the winner of the first-round matchup between Brody King and Konosuke Takeshita. AEW Dynasty also featured Kyle Fletcher defeating Mark Briscoe in first-round action. Fletcher moves on to face the winner of “Hangman” Adam Page and a “Wild Card” entrant.

If wearing it during his matches doesn’t work out, Ospreay could always get his steps in when he chases his post-wrestling career as a postman for the Royal Mail.
