Bayley won the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40 and has been defending the title with pride. She only wants to see the women’s division in WWE grow, and that is why she wants WWE to take a major step before introducing new women’s titles.

Rumors have been swirling about WWE potentially adding Women’s United States and Intercontinental Titles to their roster. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, while nothing has been officially confirmed, there have been internal discussions within the company about introducing these new championships.

While speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast with Booker T, Bayley expressed her openness to the idea of WWE introducing a mid-card title for women, similar to the NXT Women’s North American Title. However, she believes that the Women’s Tag Titles should be given more prominence before adding a new championship.

Bayley stated that while she is proud of the Women’s Tag Team Titles, they often lack sufficient focus and opportunities. She emphasized the need for the women’s tag division to be better showcased and included in major events before considering the introduction of an additional title. Bayley is confident that once the women’s tag division is fully established, a new title would benefit many other women in the industry.

“Of course, yeah I think that is – they’re doing that in NXT right now with the NXT Women’s North American Title. Yeah, I would love for us to have something like that. I think that would be great but I still – I always say this as proud as I am of the Women’s Tag Team Titles, they also don’t always get that time. They don’t always get those matches. So first I would love to see those take off and I would love to see the women’s tag division kind of be put on the map and be on these pay-per-views with us.

And I just feel like they need a little more TLC (tender loving care), a little more love because so many women have been able to hold them but we haven’t been able to like have that match yet where it’s like ‘Okay, we solidified the women’s tag team division, now it’s bringing in another one.’ But when that happens, I believe it will, I know that it’s going to help a lot of other women shine.”

Chelsea Green is also open to the idea of WWE introducing new women’s titles. NXT has already made waves with the introduction of the NXT Women’s North American Championship, which has quickly become a success. The question now is whether RAW and SmackDown will follow suit with their own mid-card titles for the women’s divisions. Fans are curious to see if the roster depth on these brands will support the effective implementation of such titles.
