Former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is one of the top stars in WWE. But early on in her career, she thought she lost it all when she accidentally kicked a WWE Hall of Famer. It was Natalya’s father, the late Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart.

Recently, during an episode of Mythical Kitchen, The Man opened up about the time she kicked the WWE Hall of Famer. Becky Lynch mentioned that she was very scared after kicking The Anvil because she almost put him in a hospital bed.

“We were all going to jump him [Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart] in the beginning of the match. Just attack Jim Neidhart in the beginning of the match. Before the babyfaces came out. And I just kicked him square in the kneecap. Just like, the way a leg is not supposed to bend. He pushed me back (and said), ‘You don’t get people like that.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s it. I’m done. My wrestling career is over. Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart just…’ I nearly took him out. I nearly put him in the hospital. And I was so scared and then I just stayed away from him the whole match.”

Lynch also mentioned that Jim Neidhart was sweet to her and taught her the basics of wrestling. She also mentioned that it was her first big break in wrestling.

“And then afterwards he had calmed down. He was so nice and he was just cuz… He was a dad to three girls. And so he was just so sweet and so lovely. Told me, taught me how to kick and all that kind of… And he was just great. That was my first big break,” Becky Lynch said.
