Becky Lynch is trading the wrestling ring for the golf course in her latest venture.

The WWE star, whose real name is Rebecca Quin, has landed a supporting role in Happy Gilmore 2, set to release on Netflix in 2025. According to PWInsider, Lynch will play a golfer alongside NFL legend Reggie Bush.

The sequel brings back Adam Sandler as Happy Gilmore, with Christopher McDonald, Dennis Dugan, Ben Stiller, and Bad Bunny also joining the cast. Notably, AEW’s Maxwell Jacob Friedman is set to make his feature film debut in the movie, adding a touch of wrestling rivalry to the star-studded lineup.

Lynch’s involvement aligns with WWE’s partnership with Netflix, which kicks off with RAW’s debut on the platform on January 6, 2025. The Man was last seen at WWE’s December promotional event celebrating the move, further fueling speculation about her future with the company.

Despite her absence from WWE programming since May 2024, Lynch has remained a topic of conversation. Reports indicate she entered free agency last year, though she hasn’t officially confirmed whether she’ll return to WWE.

With Happy Gilmore 2 on the horizon and her future in wrestling uncertain, Lynch is proving her star power extends far beyond the squared circle.
