Big Boom AJ says he’ll be back in AEW if he’s welcome to come back.
Big Boom AJ of The Costco Guys appeared on AEW programming ahead of AEW Full Gear, and he competed on the Zero Hour ahead of the pay-per-view. There, he defeated QT Marshall.
At the AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum, Liam Crowley of ScreenRant asked Big Boom AJ if the match was a one-off or if he had plans to wrestle more. Tony Khan was sitting next to AJ, and he asked him to come back.
“I love it here, I do, I love it here, I loved every minute of this,” AJ said. “If I’m welcome back, I’m gonna be back, and I’m gonna bring the boom.
Tony Khan then said that AJ was welcome to come back.
“Big Boom!” AJ On Potential Title Run
AJ was then asked about potentially challenging for the AEW World Championship. He noted that he was having fun where he was. AJ then stated that he was leaning toward potentially wrestling multiple times throughout the year.
“[Laughs] I think I’m having a lot of fun where I am right now,” AJ said. “I think I’m really loving everything that Big Justice and I have an opportunity to do. Again, we talked about some of the creatures that we’ve been with. There’s a lot we’re doing right now.
“So I don’t think a championship run is in my future. I think that would take a lot of dedication that I’m not sure I have right now, but to be here at AEW and wrestle multiple times throughout the year and see where that goes, I think that’s kind of more of the direction I’m leaning, but I’m getting a sad from over here [from Tony Khan] so.”
Tony Khan reiterated that he loved working with AJ and wanted him to keep going.
“No, I love it. I want you to keep going, I absolutely love working with you,” Khan said. “You are such a breath of positivity, you’re undefeated in AEW. Brought the boom.”
