Bill Murray is talking about the wild rumors that he and Kelis are an unexpected item. The 74-year-old actor discussed the speculation that he and the 45-year-old “Milkshake” singer were dating during a recent interview on SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning. The Ghostbsters star then revealed he first became aware of Kelis after seeing her in the 1999 music video for her song “Got Your Money” with rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard. “I’m going: ‘Who is the girl with the red hair?’ And it was Kelis, so I decided to meet her sometime. She turns out to be spectacular,” he said, expressing his admiration. Bill also revealed that he spoke with Kelis recently, and they discussed that she recently bought farm land in Kenya. While Bill is fond of Kelis, when asked if the two were ever a couple, he denied the rumor by shaking his head “no.” However, he jokingly said he wasn’t completely opposed to the idea of a potential courtship with the hip-hop artist. “Y’know, one of us could be on the rebound any second,” Bill added with a chuckle. Rumors started swirling that Bill and Kelis were romantically linked in June 2023, after he attended one of her shows in London. Kelis then commented on the situation via social media a week later.
