The Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad was put on high alert after receiving an anonymous email about a bomb threat on Monday. Security personnel were alarmed by the message from an unknown sender.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), bomb detection team of Hyderabad police, and local police conducted a thorough search of the airport for about two hours. Fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm.

The email warning was received by the airport authorities in Begumpet, who immediately informed the CISF and police. All airport staff were evacuated while the security check was carried out. Emergency protocols, such as calling ambulances and fire tenders, were followed as per standard procedure.
This incident comes after a similar scare at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad in February, when multiple anonymous emails warned of a potential RDX attack.
