The Almighty Bobby Lashley has proved himself as one of the most dominant athletes in the professional wrestling industry today. However, things weren’t much different during his initial run in the company.

The former United States Champion was considered to be a powerhouse back then, thanks to his incredible physique and immense strength he showed during his matches. While fans have always loved witnessing the dominance Lashley creates inside the squared circle, WWE Hall of Famer wasn’t a fan of it during his early days.

In his first interaction with the former WWE Champion, Booker T couldn’t stay back. In a heated exchange with Lashley, the Hall of Famer advised the former to stay less aggressive during the matches and not beat up guys inside the ring. However, this was followed by Lashley saying something mean to Booker T, making things worse. During an episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revealed:

“You know because, when I first met Bobby Lashley, and I saw this specimen in front of me, I was like god, man… This guy’s a Greek god, man! And he’d had a match, and he went out there and the guy just beat him up, and he was all over, just flopping all over the place.”

“And I went to Bobby and I said, ‘No, Bobby, you can’t do this, we can’t do this.’” “And Bobby, you know, he said something mean that wasn’t to my liking, and I was like ‘Man, I don’t know if I ever want to talk to this guy again.’ And I didn’t talk to Bobby for months. And then finally one day Bobby came to me and I stressed to him, you know, ‘You’ve gotta take the bull by the horns. You can’t let the bull ride you.’”

Bobby Lashley, in another interview recently, revealed that he admired the Hall of Famer’s work and that the latter had taken him under his wing during his initial run in the company.

Lashley is set to enter the Men’s Elimination Chamber match against Logan Paul, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and LA Knight to determine Seth Rollins’ challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL.
