Trick Williams wants to recreate some moments from Shawn Michael‘s career.

The Heart Break kid currently runs NXT, where Trick Williams is the current champion. He has often talked highly of the NXT Champion, saying he has a very bright future ahead of him.

Trick Williams spoke with Ten Count Media and was asked if he planned to recreate any of Shawn Michaels’ biggest moments in the ring. He noted that the zip line entrance from WrestleMania XII was “pretty dope”, but added that his fear of heights could be an issue.

While also noting Michaels’ match with Ric Flair at WrestleMania 24, Trick Williams admitted to wanting his own DX-type faction. He explains how the freedom to do what you want is something he’d love to have in the WWE.

“I think the zip line was super dope. Now, I’m a little afraid of heights, so we’ll have to see if that’s something that’s possible. The ‘I’m sorry I love you’ maybe with Booker T. He has so many moments, man. Like, I mean, that faction — DX — of course, probably one of the coolest factions of all time. You know, they got themselves in trouble.” Trick Williams said.

“So, I think having that type of faction, with that type of energy, where you can just go out there, be yourself, and be free to kind of do what you want — I would love to have that type of freedom.”

Trick Williams: Roman Reigns Is A Dream Match

Trick Williams sees Roman Reigns as his dream match in the WWE.

During a recent interview with Insight With Chis Van Vliet, Williams looked ahead toward the future, specifically to some of his dream matches. In doing so, Williams pointed toward former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as a fantasy opponent.

“Roman Reigns. I mean, he’s the top guy in the business right now. I mean, shout out to Cody Rhodes, who is amazing. I’m glad that he finished and started his new story. But Roman, he’s the guy who’s been the cornerstone of the business for a while now. So if you don’t want to match with him, then you don’t really want to be here,” Williams said.
