Shotzi recently sustained a serious knee injury during a title match at the latest NXT tapings, impacting several plans. While she will be out of action for a while, Booker T has acknowledged the unfortunate incident, stating that such injuries are simply part of the cost of being in the wrestling business.

As reported earlier, during the recent taping for next week’s WWE NXT Championship match, Shotzi suffered knee injury while attempting her apron DDT. She experienced significant pain and was unable to put any weight on her knee.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T talked about Shotzi’s injury. Booker T mentioned it was a challenging and painful situation. He expressed hope for her recovery and praised her character, highlighting her confidence in promos.

Booker T emphasized the difficulties in the wrestling business, noting that Shotzi isn’t the only female WWE Superstar to have suffered injuries lately, especially knee injuries. Booker T stated that it is the cost of being in the industry.

“I heard it was really a hard one and a tough one too. And she was in a lot of pain. Hopefully, she can chop it up and get it back because she has become such a cool character. Lover. It’s such a player you know, it’s just her just to feel that comes out for her when she’s doing a promo. She’s so confident. And you know, being around her for a long time, got a chance to work with her tough enough.”

”So see her in this position and then boom, go down like that. Just hard, man, just hard. You know, just talking about this just three weeks back and forth. A lot of ladies going down and getting hurt and knee injuries whatnot, whatnot then, but it’s just the cost of being in the business.”

We have also reported Shotzi’s recovery status following her knee injury. She will be missing out on WrestleMania 40, which has certainly disappointed fans. We will have to wait and see when Shotzi will be able to make her triumphant return to in-ring action.
