Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE TV since his match with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Recently, rumors about his return have surfaced, particularly after reports connected him to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit, which led WWE to take him out of creative plans. In fact, Booker T has expressed his desire to see Lesnar return to WWE.
Brock Lesnar was referenced during the October 14th episode of Monday Night RAW. This happened on two separate occasions, as both Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes referenced beating a ”Beast,” which was Brock Lesnar. These references led to The Beast Incarnate trending on social media and, made fans wonder if he would return to WWE again.
Fightful Select noted that according to sources within the company. there are currently no plans for Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE and WWE made references to Lesnar simply to further storylines and nothing more.
While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast with Brad Gilmore, Booker T talked about Brock Lesnar possibly returning to WWE for Crown Jewel. He wasn’t sure if it would happen but said that Lesnar’s return would be a big deal for WWE.
Booker T mentioned that fans might think they won’t see Lesnar again since he has been gone for a while without any news. He suggested that if there are clues about Lesnar in commentary or promos, it might mean there are plans for him to come back.
Booker T pointed out that having Lesnar return could make current storylines even better, especially with the Bloodline story. There’s a chance he could team up with Roman Reigns. Overall, Booker T said he would love to see Lesnar back in WWE.
“Tell you what man, I don’t know if that’s going to happen. Could I see that happening? Yeah, of course. But the game-changer would be just Brock reappearing back on WWE TV in any way, shape, or form. That’s what I think. That’s the game-changer. Lot of people I’m sure have thought they may not see Brock Lesnar anymore after this hiatus he’s had because he’s been gone for quite some time, and no one’s said anything, so I’m sure if some words are being dropped [on commentary/in promos] yeah, it might be some plans in the work. But yeah, Brock Lesnar would be a huge game-changer. But everything right now is going so well, it would just add more fuel to the fire, especially with The Bloodline stuff that’s going on. Is he gonna join in with Roman? There’s so much data to work with, so yeah, I’d love to see Brock Lesnar back in the fold.”
Dave Meltzer has mentioned that legal issues have stopped Brock Lesnar from coming back to WWE television. Because of this, fans should lower their expectations regarding Lesnar’s return, as it seems unlikely he will be back in WWE anytime soon, if at all.
