BREAKING: EFCC Fails To Arraign Ex-Gov Bello Amid After Dramatic Scene

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, was not arraigned in court on Thursday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The arraignment of the ex-Governor before a Federal High Court did not proceed as scheduled due to his absence.

The defendant’s lawyer cited an ex parte order restraining the EFCC from arresting and prosecuting the former Governor. This order has been appealed against by the EFCC at the Court of Appeal.

Recall that a dramatic scene that played out when EFCC operatives tried to arrest him yesterday in Abuja. Amid the effort to arrest him, Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State stormed the scene and whisked him away amid heavy security.
