Suspected herdsmen launched a deadly attack on Ugbobi community in Apa LGA of Benue State, leaving many villagers feared dead and several others injured.

In the wake of the assault, residents have fled their homes, allowing the assailants to set fire to houses and pillage food supplies.

Eric Amodu, a native of the community, expressed dismay over the prolonged attack, stating, “It’s been 2 hours since this morning attack began and still no security forces has made any effort. Obvious conspiracy.”
