BREAKING: NLC Members Cry Out As Soldiers Surround Venue Of Their Meeting With FG

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has raised an alarm that soldiers have surrounded the venue of its meeting with the federal government regarding minimum wage negotiations.

“Soldiers are presently surrounding the venue of the meeting between Labour and Government at the premises of the SGF,” the NLC posted on X.

Earlier on Monday, the NLC warned on its official X handle against any attempts to intimidate, provoke, or blackmail its leaders during the negotiations, stating that such actions would only exacerbate the situation.

The union emphasized that any such developments could potentially prolong the ongoing strike indefinitely.
