BREAKING: Policemen Fire Gunshots As They Clash With Protesters In Abuja

Men of the Nigerian police force clashed with youths engaging in the #EndBadGovernanceProtest in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Saturday morning.

The policemen dispersed #EndBadGovernance protesters at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The protesters, who had returned to the venue after initially avoiding it earlier in the day, assembled with flags and placards to resume their demonstration.

However, police officers on the scene fired into the air and released teargas to disperse the crowd. Many protesters fled, with some running to their vehicles to escape.

It is not clear if they will regroup and come back to resume the protest since their street action is scheduled to last for 10 days and today is just Day 3.
