The Federal Government has reached an agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), resulting in the lifting of the travel ban on Nigerian passport holders.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced this development shortly after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu on Monday.
The minister stated, “Nigeria has been in discussions with the UAE regarding the travel ban on Nigerians. Today, an agreement has been reached.
“Nigerian passport holders can now be issued visas to travel to the United Arab Emirates.”
