Bret Hart responds to Goldberg.
Goldberg recently sparked some controversy when he suggested that Bret Hart should “grow up”. The comment was in reference to Hart remaining openly frustrated with the way that a botched kick by Goldberg during their match at WCW Starrcade effectively ended his in-ring career.
During a virtual signing with Signed By Superstars, Bret Hart was asked to respond to Goldberg’s latest comments, but he also brought the former champion up when looking at a picture of Booker T hitting him with the Scissors Kick. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling)
“Man, [Booker T’s Scissors Kick] is a really dangerous move, that one … When he did that to me, it drove my head right into the mat… Between him and Goldberg, they were trying to kill me,” Bret Hart said. “That was a really dangerous move. I had to tell him stop. He couldn’t do it to me anymore.
“He (did it to) me two or three times and every time he did, drove my head right into the — almost right through the boards. I don’t pay much attention to Bill. I don’t know anyone that does [when asked about Goldberg’s comments].”
Goldberg previously said that he could only say sorry so many times. Check out his comments here.
