Brighton are set to complete the signing of Nordsjaelland winger Ibrahim Osman, talkSPORT understands.

Osman will join the Seagulls on July 1 after the two clubs agreed a £17million deal, which could rise to £19.5m with add-ons.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian was close to moving to West Ham in January.

The Hammers had multiple offers turned down by Nordsjaelland, up to around £13m, but were unwilling to go any higher.

Arsenal and Tottenham were also believed to have been monitoring Osman, who scored two goals in 27 games for the club last season.

The teenager usually plays on the left wing, but can play anywhere across the front three.

It is not the first time Brighton have done business with Nordsjaelland, signing Simon Adingra from them in 2022.

Adingra was then loaned to Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium last season, but has been a key part of Roberto de Zerbi's squad this campaign.

The Seagulls are currently eighth in the Premier League and nine points off fifth place Tottenham.

Next up for De Zerbi is a trip to Spurs on Saturday.
