Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Julia Hart are moving on from Malakai Black, whose reported exit from AEW was seemingly referenced on AEW Dynamite.
King, Hart, and Matthews appeared in a taped video on the January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite. King said that the former House of Black stablemates had a voice to guide them, but that voice had gone silent. Matthews said they were done living in the shadows. Hart stated that it was time to honor themselves.
Matthews then said that they were moving forward without a leader. Likewise, Hart said they didn’t have any masters. King declared that when they bark, we bark together.
This comes after Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Black was believed to be finishing up with AEW. Mike Johnson of PWInsider also reported that Black was believed to be leaving AEW. He has been increasingly linked to WWE, where he had a run as Aleister Black.
