Bronson Reed isn’t taking a recent statement from CM Punk regarding a future match between them lightly.
CM Punk was recently interviewed at ComplexCon and said the following about wanting to step into the ring with Bronson Reed.
“The list is pretty lengthy. I think Chad Gable is on the top of the list. I think Bronson Reed is on the top of the list,” CM Punk said. “Kaiser is somebody I see a lot in I think it’d be fun, Gunther, and I’m selfishly talking about guys that I would love to wrestle on house shows. But then you talk about the money stuff, you talk about the marquee stuff. You talk about what is a match that you could see main eventing a pay-per-view. And that’s what gets my juices flowing.”
While Punk might have felt he was paying Reed a compliment, his comments suggest he doesn’t believe a match with him is a money match in WWE.
Evidently, Reed took it the same way as he took to social media to respond to Punk’s comments, tweeting out:
“I AM MONEY! I’ll whoop him so hard his Pepsi logo will turn to a coca cola one, taste the feeling bitch,” Bronson Reed said in a post.
It’s currently unclear when Punk is scheduled to return to WWE programming.
