Borussia Dortmund will try their best to sign Man United’s Jadon Sancho this summer as the Bundesliga club have been happy with the winger since joining on loan in January.
The German club benefitted from the Englishman’s fractured relationship with Man United manager Erik ten Hag as the Dutch coach wanted the 24-year-old away from his squad following a disagreement at the start of the season.
Sancho has shown signs of getting back to his best at Dortmund and scored a screamer against RB Leipzig on Saturday to take his tally in Germany to three goals and two assists across all competitions.
Borussia Dortmund want to keep Sancho at the club for the 2024/25 campaign and will try to negotiate a deal with Man United this summer to make it happen, reports Fabrizio Romano.
However, the transfer journalist says that reaching an agreement will not be easy but the German outfit will try their best to make it happen.

Reasons Borussia Dortmund will struggle to sign Jadon Sancho from Man United
The biggest obstacle standing in the way of Borussia Dortmund signing Sancho this summer is the finances involved.
The winger earns £250,00-per-week at Old Trafford which is a salary the German club will not even come close to offering the Englishman.
Then there will also need to be a transfer fee with United said to be looking for around £50m to part ways with the 24-year-old. These numbers are not reachable for the Bundesliga club, and therefore, will prevent a transfer from happening.

Then there is the factor of Erik ten Hag being sacked by Man United this summer.
The Dutch coach is the main reason why the winger left the Premier League club in January and with a new manager in place for next season, Sancho may want a second chance at Old Trafford.
As Fabrizio Romano says, Dortmund will try to get a deal done but a lot is standing in their way of getting it over the line.
