They’re up next. Commentary is one of the most important parts of any wrestling program. The broadcast team is tasked with sending the fans in the direction the promotion wants them to go by pointing out and focusing on certain things during the show. It can be a huge deal when a team changes and one of the most important in all of wrestling will be changing soon.

Earlier this month, Pat McAfee announced that he would be stepping away from the WWE broadcasting team due to his commitments to ESPN College Gameday. As a result, Joe Tessitore is expected to take his place on Monday Night Raw. According to the Sports Business Journal, Wade Barrett will move from SmackDown to Monday Night Raw along with Tessitore. Michael Cole and Corey Graves will call SmackDown until January, when Cole and McAfee will return to Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: This is a change that has been known for a bit but it is interesting to see that Barrett will get the Monday Night Raw spot, eve for a few months. He has done well in the roles he has received so far and it will be nice to see him get the big prestige spot for a change. WWE seems to get how important commentary can be and they are changing things up accordingly.
