This week’s Monday Night Raw saw Joe Tessitore make his debut as part of the WWE broadcast team, where he served as lead play by play commentator. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE is said to have been positive about Tessitore’s debut. While there were expected growing pains, Tessitore is said to have done well. Tessitore is expected to move to SmackDown within the next few months as WWE continues to shuffle its commentary teams.

Opinion: This is the kind of change that has to take place every so often and Tessitore did indeed to well enough. Going from any other sport to professional wrestling is not going to be easy and Tessitore had clearly put in the effort to make this work.
