Delevingne made her acting debut in 2012 in Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina opposite Keira Knightley, Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Her TV credits include starring in and executive producing the Amazon Prime series, Carnival Row; developing, starring in, and producing the six-part Hulu and BBC docuseries, Planet Sex, which explored sexual identity around the globe; and acting in season two of seven-time Emmy Award-winning Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, opposite Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Additional film credits include Michael Winterbottom’s Face of an Angel, Jake Schreier’s Paper Town, Joe Wright’s Pan, DC’s Suicide Squad, Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Justin Chadwick’s Tulip Fever, Alex Ross Perry’s Her Smell, and Life in a Year opposite Jaden Smith, among many others.
Delevingne has lived her life in the public eye since the age of 10 when she shot with Bruce Weber for Vogue Italia, which launched her modeling career. Throughout her career, she has been a steady staple for fashion houses including Chanel, Moschino, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Givenchy, Pucci, YSL, Miu Miu and Stella McCartney. She fostered a long-lasting personal and professional relationship with the late Karl Lagerfeld. She also designed capsule collections for DKNY, Puma and Karl Lagerfeld. Recently, Delevingne was revealed as the new face of L’Oreal, as announced at Paris Fashion Week.
A singer and a drummer, Delevingne released her debut song and music video for “I Feel Everything” in 2017, produced by Pharrell Williams, which was featured on the soundtrack of her film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Delevingne also provided back-up vocals on Fiona Apple’s Grammy-nominated 2020 album “Fetch the Bolt Cutters”.
As a passionate activist, Delevingne leverages her massive following of 41.2M followers on Instagram and 3.6M followers on Tik Tok to speak out on important social issues. She has become an influential voice for the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as an advocate for mental health issues, women’s rights, and environmental conservation. Her environmental advocacy has brought her to partner with Advaya to launch EcoResolution, encouraging people around the world to act against climate change and ecological crises.
