The former Argentinian striker was hospitalized overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Big concern around the state of health of Carlos Tevez. The Argentinian was rushed to the Trinidad de San Isidro clinic, in Buenos Aires, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday after suffering from chest pain, announced Club Atletico Independiente, where he works as a coach for almost a year.

If the one we nicknamed the “Apache” spent the night under observation, the first examinations carried out proved rather reassuring. The former Manchester striker must now undergo more in-depth tests to find out the cause of this pain, as he already suffered from high blood pressure.

“Carlos Tevez will remain hospitalized as a precaution”

“The examinations carried out by the hospital were satisfactory. Carlos Tevez will remain hospitalized as a precaution until the examinations are completed”, indicated the Argentine club in a press release. According to local media, these chest pains could be caused by the stress linked to his new job as a coach.

As a reminder, Carlos Tevez hung up his boots in 2021 after a final stint at Boca Juniors. The former Argentina international then decided to embark on a coaching career. He started with an experience at Rosario Central, before joining Independiente last August.
