Carmelo Hayes has high praise for his time at the WWE Performance Center as an NXT Superstar.

SmackDown Superstar Carmelo Hayes recently sat down with Jim Varsallone. When asked how important it was to him as an independent wrestler to train and learn in the WWE Performance Center, Hayes said his time at the PC was very important as he came in with a lot of bad habits.

Especially when it’s WWE, the product is heavily sports entertainment. It’s not so much, so we’re not wrestling for ourselves. We’re wrestling for the millions around the world at this point.

“So benefiting from being at the Performance Center has helped my game tremendously. I learned a lot of fundamentals I guess you could say, prior to WWE, but coming really owning on the WWE aspect of what we do.”
