This week’s AEW Dynamite saw the debut of Mercedes Mone, who opened and closed the show. This came after weeks of speculation that Mone was on her way to the promotion. According to Fightful Select, Mone has been on the AEW payroll for two months, with some believing that the agreement was made back in December. Mone is expected to continue working with New Japan, but AEW is expected to be her priority. It is not clear when Mone will be able to return to the ring.
