TJPW has revealed the initial details of the upcoming fifth “Futiwari wa Princess” Max Heart tournament this 2025.
The “Futiwari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament is TJPW’s premier single-elimination tag team tournament. Since its inception in 2021, TJPW has held the tournament on an annual basis early on in the year. The tournament winners are granted a shot at the Princess Tag Team Championships often at Grand Princess in March. Its previous winners include the likes of Sakisama & Mei Saint-Michel, Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe, Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh, and Arisu Endo & Suzume.
This year’s tag tournament kicks off at Shinagawa on Saturday, January 18th for the first round matches. The finals will take place in Korakuen Hall on Saturday, February 8th. A total of twelve teams will compete in this year’s bracketology. As of the time of writing, only half of the field has been announced.
