Charlamagne Tha God is not feeling Nicki Minaj’s “Big Foot” track and gave his very honest review of it during The Breakfast Club.
“That ain’t it, Nicki. I don’t know who Nicki got around her, but there’s absolutely no reason that should’ve left the studio. I’m glad Nicki finally decided to rap and not just tweet, but no, that ain’t it. [Megan] put out “Hiss” Friday at midnight, and for the next 72 hours, all weekend, Nicki just has been talking about her on social media, and a lot of the bars that may have maybe been like, ‘Oh shoot, she already tweeted [that],'” said the radio host.
He continued, “We’re approaching this from a grown level. I don’t see the need to bring in somebody’s deceased mother, but like I said, I can’t say it’s not fair; I’m just speaking from a human perspective. From a human level, I don’t agree with that.”
On the song, Nicki accused Megan of having liposuction, of sleeping with her stepfather and of sleeping with producers in exchange for beats.
Charlamagne wasn’t the only media personality who thinks “Big Foot” is a weak diss track. DJ Akademiks also believes Nicki should not get a pass for dropping the track so quickly as the quality was sorely lacking.
