Chelsea finally lands Estêvão Willian

Wanted by a large part of European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Palmeiras star Estêvão Willian has signed with Chelsea. A highly anticipated transfer for Palmeiras’ Brazilian prodigy. The Blues will pay €34 million for the 17-year-old winger, plus an additional €23 million in bonuses based on performances at his current club and when he makes his Chelsea debut.

In a statement this Saturday, Chelsea made his arrival official for next summer, when he will be 18 years old. “Chelsea Football Club have reached an agreement with Palmeiras for the signing of striker Estêvão Willian. The Brazilian will officially join Chelsea next summer”assures a short press release from the London club. After making his professional debut last season, the one nicknamed Messino has scored one goal in 6 games this season.
