Andy Reid’s long history with Taylor Swift had even Travis Kelce a little bit jealous.

The Kansas City Chiefs coach recounted to Tom Brady and Jim Gray on their SiriusXM podcast, Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gary, that he’s known the “All Too Well” singer since she was a child and has nothing but appreciation for her support.

“Yeah, listen, she’s been great. I knew her before, from Philadelphia. Her dad [Scott Swift] played at [University of] Delaware and was a big football fan and good guy,” Reid explained.

“So I had met him there and her.”

Reid, 65, quipped that the tight end, 34, wasn’t too thrilled to hear his coach had the one-up on him.

“So that was the last thing Trav wanted to hear, that I knew her before him,” Reid said, laughing.

“She told him, ‘I know your coach,'” Reid recalled. “And he went, ‘Oh, God, come on!’”

A three-time Super Bowl-winning coach, Reid said he’s “happy” for Kelce that he found a “good girl.”

“And there has been no distraction that way at all, and Trav’s handled it right, she’s handled it right and we just move forward,” he continued, referring to the couple’s high-profile relationship.

“So it hasn’t been a problem at all.”

Reid’s anecdote follows the couple’s loved-up celebrations after the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship.

The “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, and Kelce didn’t try to conceal their romance from anyone as they passionately kissed on the field moments after the Chiefs secured their Super Bowl 2024 slot.

Reid also said that the couple’s high-profile relationship hasn’t been a “distraction” for anyone. Getty Images

“I love you,” the NFL athlete told her. “So much it’s not funny.”

“I’ve never been so proud of anyone,” she appeared to reply, pulling him in close. “Ever.”

Kelce grew teary eyed as he walked away from the singer with a tear running down his face.

Although Swift has an Eras Tour performance in Tokyo, Japan the night before the Super Bowl, we’re told that the songstress plans to make the 13-hour trek to make it back in time for the big game.

“It’s a brutal flight, but she’ll get on her plane right after the concert,” an insider told us Monday.

Fortunately, the timezones work in Swift’s favor, as Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, where the game will be played.
