CM Punk is officially set to appear on the June 21 episode of WWE SmackDown.
CM Punk, who has been sidelined due to a torn triceps, cost Drew McIntyre his match against Damian Priest at WWE Clash at the Castle. He then said that he would be at WWE SmackDown in Chicago on June 21. Allstate Arena advertised him for the show, and WWE confirmed that he would be there during the June 17 episode of WWE RAW.
WWE also announced that Money in the Bank matches would continue on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown. The competitors were not named in the announcement. Two qualifying matches are set to be held on the June 17 episode of WWE RAW.
The advertisement also teased that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes would face a new threat after Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline attacked him at WWE Clash at the Castle. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens made the save for Rhodes when the group ganged up on him.
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE SmackDown as it airs on Friday.
