CM Punk hid under the ring, attacked Drew McIntyre from behind, and whipped security guards on WWE RAW.
Drew McIntyre came to the ring on the August 26 episode of WWE RAW and looked forward to his Strap Match against CM Punk at WWE Bash in Berlin. He mocked Punk and took some shots at him. McIntyre claimed that Punk was scared of him, but the fans kept enabling him by chanting for him. McIntyre made it clear that he would leave Punk with some scars on Saturday.
Punk’s music hit, and the former WWE Champion attacked McIntyre from behind. He whipped McIntyre with a strap and tried to get his bracelet back. They brawled, and Punk continued to whip McIntyre. Security guards intervened, and Punk whipped them as well.
Many fans then pointed out that CM Punk was streaming on Instagram Live from underneath the ring as he prepared to attack McIntyre.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Punk was fined an undisclosed amount for assaulting the security guards.
