CM Punk addresses where things stand between himself and Roman Reigns.
WWE Superstar CM Punk recently spoke to Peter Rosenberg at ComplexCon. When asked if he’s had a chance to speak with Roman Reigns since returning to the company, Punk said since they are on different shows and both have been away for various reasons, he hasn’t seen him since WrestleMania 40.
“We’re on different shows and I feel like with my injury and his time off and everything, I saw him at WrestleMania, it’s the last time I saw him,” CM Punk said.
When asked what he feels his dynamic with Reigns is now compared to 2014, Punk teased that these questions will play out on WWE programming in the future.
“If you look back at when The Shield, they came here and made a whole ton of waves in a short amount of time. And my relationship with all those guys was pretty good. I just had to get the hell out of here for my own sanity. But yeah, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I think a lot of the questions you have like, oh, what is Punk’s relationship with Roman? What does Punk feel about Seth? I think all that stuff is gonna play out on television because that’s what I do.”
