JBL had a notorious reputation in the WWE locker room for being a bully and allegedly harassing multiple Superstars over the years. Interestingly, CM Punk has now seemingly confirmed that he was also a target of JBL’s bullying.

While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Pat McAfee and CM Punk talked about stiff wrestlers in WWE. McAfee asked CM Punk whether he had to face JBL’s incredibly stiff clotheslines in WWE, asking, “Have you had JBL clothesline you?”

CM Punk then admitted that was a regular occurrence for him for six months straight, seemingly confirming he would get bullied by JBL in the ring, “Yeah, nightly for six months straight.”

JBL and CM Punk had a longstanding feud back in the late 2000s that extended on television as well as on WWE live events. After all, JBL was always known to haze people in the ring and that’s why it wouldn’t be a surprise that he ended up doing the same thing and bullied Punk.

While CM Punk didn’t directly label JBL as a bully, his choice of words speaks volumes. Punk’s admission that he endured JBL’s clotheslines every night for six months contributes to the ongoing conversation about the locker room culture in WWE during that time.
