Collin, 20, shared he’s “not [in the Marines] any longer,” and explained why in an ET interview.

He shared, “I was discharged. I was towards the end of training, very close to graduating. The paperwork was looked into, and they found out that I was, in fact, in an institution at one point in my life.”

He said, “Being in an institution, that’s good enough … to discharge me. It was the fact that I was in an institution and that’s it.”

He shared he is “working to appeal the decision” and that he has “very few other wishes in life that would top being a United States Marine.”

He’s now focusing on working and preparing to head to Pennsylvania State University, where he wants to major in finance.

Collin recently revealed how long he’s been estranged from his siblings, while one of them accused him of physical violence and hate speech.
